Who I am

To Scale Editions is operated by Somerset Now LLC, a Kentucky company. Mail: P.O. Box 26, Somerset, KY 42502. I check every photograph and every order myself. I do not make the canvas: a US print partner prints, stretches and ships it.

How ordering works

You send your photograph and your size choice by email, using the form on the order page. I check the file and reply with a preview and any warning. You pay only after you approve the preview. Payment is taken by Stripe, on a Stripe-hosted page, by a payment link I send you. I never see or store your card number. Nothing is printed until you have approved the preview and paid. After you approve, the print matches the preview.

Shipping

Shipping within the United States is included in the price Alaska and Hawaii to confirm. I send the order to the print partner after you approve and pay. The partner states that production takes about 2 to 3 business days and that large canvases then ship by tracked carrier, usually 1 to 5 business days to confirm with real orders. You get a tracking number. If your order will be late, I will tell you before the ship date and you can wait or cancel for a full refund.

Returns and damage

Each canvas is made from your photograph, so I cannot accept returns for change of mind. If it arrives damaged, or is not what you approved, email me photographs of the canvas and the box within 7 days of delivery and I will make it right with a replacement or a refund. The print partner requires damage claims within 14 days, which is why my window is shorter.

Photo quality

If your photograph is too small or soft for the size you chose, I tell you before it prints and you can pick a smaller size, have it enlarged with software, or go ahead knowing how it will look. Enlargement does not add detail that was never captured, and it can change small details such as faces. I show you the result first. If you choose to go ahead after my warning, I cannot refund the softness I warned you about, and the print partner's quality guarantee does not cover low-resolution files.

Photo rights and content

By ordering you confirm that you took the photograph, or have permission from the person who did to print it and to have it cropped or enlarged. I cannot print professional studio portraits unless you have a print release from the photographer. I will not print sexually explicit, hateful, unlawful or defamatory images, or anything that infringes someone else's rights, and I may decline an order and refund it in full.

Privacy

This website: Print Check and the room tool run in your browser. Your photographs are not uploaded when you use them. This site does not use advertising cookies or analytics scripts to confirm before launch. Optional: if you ask for a written note from the AI service, only the measurements leave your browser, and a small preview only if you tick that box.

When you order: I receive your name, your email address and your photograph, and later your shipping address. I use them only to check your photograph, to make and ship your canvas, and to answer you. I send the photograph and your shipping address to the print partner for printing and delivery, and I ask the partner not to display your photograph publicly partner's answer pending. Stripe handles your payment details under its own privacy policy.

How long I keep your photograph: I delete it 30 days after your canvas is delivered to confirm. Ask me to delete it sooner and I will. I keep a record of the order but not the photograph. I do not post your photograph or use it in marketing without asking you first.
